US ambassador to Libya says in his congratulations to the new government: This government will pave the way for the upcoming elections.

Tripoli, March 10, 2021 (LANA) - The US Embassy in Libya congratulated the new government headed by Abdel Hamid Dbaiba for obtaining the confidence of the House of Representatives in preparation for the elections scheduled to take place next December.

 The US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, described the session to grant confidence to the national unity government as a "historic session."

Ambassador Norland said, in a statement on Twitter, on the occasion, "I, like many Libyans, have followed the live broadcast of the historic parliament session in Sirt. I congratulate them on the occasion of forming a national unity government that will pave the way for elections next December."
