Maiteq officially announces the closing of the curtain on the era of financial division in the Libyan state.

 Tripoli, 8 March, 2021 (Lana) - Vice President of the Presidential Council in the Government of National Accord, "Ahmed Maitiq," announced on Sunday evening that the curtain will officially fall on the era of financial division between the east and west of the country.

   In a post on his Facebook account, Maitiq added: “Sunday, the 7th of March, the Ministry of Finance of the Government of National Accord referred the salaries of all Libyan state employees in various sectors to Central Bank of Libya, dubbing the step as first step to unifying stat5e institutions'.

On its part, Ministry of Finance announced Sunday it delivered the payment voucher for January and February.
