Libya's ambassador to Italy meets in Rome the new Italian envoy to Libya.
Pulbished on:Rome, February 18, 2021 (LANA) - It was announced in the Italian capital, Rome, that a meeting between Libya's ambassador to Italy, Omar Al-Tarhouni, and the new Italian envoy to Libya, "Ferrara Pascua", appointed by the Italian Foreign Minister, "Luigi Di Maio", were announced at the foreign Italian ministry’s office in Rome.
The Libyan Embassy statement in Italy said in this regard that: (The meeting dealt with aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries and the follow-up of the work of the Libyan-Italian Committee, in particular the draft memoranda of understanding that are still under procedure, and that the two parties discussed agreements to exchange convicts, customs and combat illegal immigration, as they emphasized the need to expedite the completion of the signing of an agreement to exchange driving licenses.)
