Minister of Interior Fathi Bashagha follows up work of the Tripoli Security Directorate.

 Tripoli, 17 February, 2021 (Lana) - Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha, Wednesday, inspected the work progress of the Tripoli Security Directorate in line with his keen interest and tireless efforts to safeguard the public at the 10th anniversary of the 17th February revolution. 

In a meeting with the director of Tripoli's security, Brigadier General Mahmoud Al-Abed, heads of police stations and a number of office and department heads in the Directorate, he discussed the role of police stations in maintaining security and stability - urging everyone to make more concerted efforts.

Minister of Interior stressed the need to prosecute criminals and outlaws, arrest them and bring them to justice in cooperation with all relevant security agencies.

 At the end of the inspection tour, in which he was accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs and the Director of the General Administration for Central Support, he visited the new headquarters of the directorate's control room and listened to explanations about the mechanism of work in it.
