Correspondents of the Libyan News Agency noticed the influx of citizens, with their families, at the entrances to Martyrs Square, waving independence flags and singing national songs and chants to confirm to the public the extent of their belonging and love for their homeland and their willingness to sacrifice and redemption to preserve its independence, sovereignty and unity.
LANA's correspondents also noted the intense security preparations to secure the celebrations by establishing several security outlets and facilitating movement to reach the Martyrs Square.
