Siala discusses with Kubis the latest developments in Libya.

 Tripoli, 16 February, 2021 (Lana) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord, Mohamed Al-Taher Siala met Tuesday, in Tripoli with the envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Libya, "Jan Kubis," with whom he discussed the latest developments in Libya, the choice of the new executive authority, and ways to overcome difficulties, according to a statement by the External Communication Department on its Facebook page, Siyala stressed during this meeting the importance of the role of the UN mission in bringing peace, and the important role it plays in sponsoring the political process in Libya, wishing the new UN envoy and his accompanying delegation success on their new mission.  

For his part, Kubis stressed the importance of cooperation with the Libyan ministries, to ensure the achievement of the goals for which he came, and cooperation with regional and international countries to achieve peace and stability in Libya.
