Libyan-Egyptian Foreign Ministries hold talks.

Tripoli, 15 February, 2021 (Lana) - Talks began at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli, Monday, between officials of the Ministry and a delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which arrived yesterday in Tripoli to coordinate between the two countries to reopen the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli.  

The visit of the Egyptian delegation came after talks recently held by a high-ranking Egyptian delegation in Tripoli, which included the head of the General Intelligence and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as based on the talks that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed al-Taher Siyala held with Egyptian officials last week during Arab foreign ministers meetings in Cairo.

 A media source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that a statement will be issued after the conclusion of the talks, explaining the results of this visit, which is expected to announce the official reopening of the embassy in Tripoli.
