The head of the Celebrations Committee in Gharyan City, Salah Barakat, told the Libyan News Agency correspondent, that after we met with all sectors of the municipality, we formed the Supreme Committee for Celebrations, and distributed the tasks, and we started yesterday by hoisting the flags to show the city in the best way, according to the capabilities available in the municipality, and with cooperation with sectors, and God willing, we will complete the day decorating the rest of the city with Independence Banners, the seventeenth banners of February, so that the city appears in its best form. Barakat invoked mercy on the martyrs of the February Revolution who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and for freedom, and for the achievement of the civil state, the state of institutions and law.
The head of the celebrations committee in Gharyan city confirmed that the celebration of the revolution's anniversary will be in its usual place, which is celebrated every year, which is Martyrs Square, where the torch will be lit there, asking all participants in this celebration to take precautionary measures for the Corona pandemic, and to maintain physical distancing.
