US ambassador confirms his country's full support to head of the United Nations mission in Libya.

 Tripoli, 14 February , 2021 (Lana) - The US ambassador to Libya, "Richard Norland," affirmed his country's full support for the head of the United Nations mission in Libya, Jan Kubisch, and focus on supporting the new government and preparing for the elections next December. The US embassy in Libya said on its official page that the new envoy of the United Nations to Libya, Jan Kubisch, met Ambassador Richard Norland Saturday in Tunis, as part of an introductory tour that he started in the region, noting that the meeting was attended by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Karen Sasahar through Video circuit from Washington.  

The embassy indicated that Ambassador "Norland" expressed the commitment of the US embassy to provide full support to the new envoy while performing his mission.
