Sabha, 7 February, 2021 (Lana) - The Fezan Commission expressed its congratulations to the Libyan people on the success of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum in choosing a new unified executive authority for the country. In a statement, the Commission thanked the Libyan political parties and the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, which was held in Geneva, and voted with all transparency to choose a list from the competing lists, and all those who participated in all three electoral groups, and submitted to run for membership of the executive authority.  

It also wished the Presidency Council and the Prime Minister success in doing what is necessary to form a government of national unity, which includes all political trends, taking into account geographical distribution, and with respect for participation rate of Libyan women according to pledges. The Commission called on Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dabaiba to communicate effectively with all Libyan political parties, with the aim of forming a strong government that can work in all parts of Libya, and also called on the House of Representatives and the state to actively participate with the Prime Minister in forming the government, and to speed up the implementation of Article 15 of the agreement.
