Mauritanian Foreign Ministry describes agreement to choose an executive authority in Libya, historic agreement.

 Nouakchott, 7 February 2021 (Lana) - The Mauritanian Foreign Ministry described the agreement of the members of the Libyan Dialogue Forum in Geneva to choose the new executive authority in Libya as historic agreement. 

 The official Mauritanian News Agency quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today, "Mauritania supports this path and everything that would achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people in terms of security or stability, and guarantee the unity of their land and sovereignty."

At the same time, praising the decisive role played by the United Nations in sponsoring this agreement. It also welcomed the agreement reached between the Libyan brothers during the Libya Forum held in Geneva, which resulted in choosing a transitional authority to secure Libya's exit from the pot of armed confrontations and divisions.
