Tripoli, February 6, 2021 (Lana) - In the first speech addressed to the Libyan people, President of the Government of National Unity, Abd al-Hamid Dabaiba: “I congratulate all Libyans for the political consensus to end the conflict and all transitional stages”.

- We affirm our commitment to cooperating positively with the Presidency Council and all state institutions in the interest of the nation and the citizen.

- We adhere to the principles of transparency and clarity to support the tools of local government.

- We intend to strengthen cooperation with friendly and brotherly countries and neighboring countries to serve the national interest.

- We support women and youth and give them an opportunity to adhere to transparency and clarity, prevent exclusion and marginalization, and reject hatred speech.

- I call on all countries of the world to work as partners on all levels.

- We are able to promote the country and turn the page of the past, and words that have not been heard have no value.

- I will be ready to listen to everyone and work with them for the sake of the homeland.

- I renew my commitment to work in order to alleviate the suffering of the citizen.
