The High Elections Commission congratulates the restructuring of the executive authority, and affirms its readiness for the elections next December.

Tripoli, February 6, 2021 (Lana) - The High National Elections Commission expressed its welcome and blessing for the restructuring of the executive authority that took place on Friday in Geneva in preparation for the general elections scheduled to be held on December 24 of this year, and the Commission’s Council confirmed in a statement, on the occasion, all Libyans without exception the Commission readiness to implement elections that live up to their expectations and hopes, noting that (power is not an end but a means to be used on the road towards achieving stability and development and meeting the aspirations and demands of the people who chose the path of democracy and the paths of peace).

  The Commission Council seized this occasion to affirm and pledge to all Libyans to make every effort to enable all Libyans to exercise their right to vote and participate in free and fair elections whose results reflect the true representation of the society of tolerance and fraternity, the society of giving and prosperity.
