Turkey welcomes selection of new executive authority in Libya, and expresses its confidence that the international community will not allow this historic opportunity to fail this time.

Tripoli, 6 February, 2021 (Lana) The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the selection of the new executive authority in Libya, stressing that Turkey will continue to provide all kinds of support to the new administrative structure in order to meet the public services that Libyans need; to ensure security and achieve the upcoming elections at the end of the year.  

The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed its confidence that the international community will not allow this historic opportunity to fail in Libya this time after the election of the new executive authority.
