Ministry of Education reviews general situation for distribution of textbooks and school equipment for resumption of studies.

Tripoli, 04 February 2021 (Lana) The Ministry of Education continued its first regular meeting for the current year headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Diwan Affairs and General Education, Eng. Adel Jumaa, in the presence of a number of directors of centers, departments, departments and offices affiliated with the ministry.  

The meeting, which comes to finalize the agenda items for yesterday's session, dealt with preparing for the resumption of studies, in addition to reviewing the general situation for distribution of textbooks and school equipment, in addition to discussing the results of the personal interviews of those referred to general reserve.

Undersecretary, Adel Jumaa stressed the importance of concerted efforts to make the educational process successful in these exceptional circumstances, stressing the need to organize educational services offices in the regions.

The undersecretary also called on the Ministry's General Reserve Department to refer a list of the names of those referred to the general reserve who did not comply with the personal interviews of the education Departments at the municipalities.

For his part, Director General of the Center for Educational Curricula and Educational Research, Dr. Al-Taher Habib, said that school textbooks were distributed to regional warehouses, which were distributed geographically, east, west, and south.

The Director General of the Educational Facilities Authority, Mr. "Ali Al-Qweireh," explained that the authority is ready to meet the educational institutions' needs of educational means, represented by whiteboards or their pens, and school seats according to the actual needs of each educational institution.

 Director of the General Reserve Department, Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Hashemi, stated that all workers in the reserve force were counted, sorted and classified according to age, health status, and scientific specialization, and to identify their preferences in terms of their desire to pursue the teaching profession and study the appropriateness of changing the specialization of some of them, and their desire to participate in training and qualification courses to raise their competencies or not.
