Italy Approaches Libya on Fixing Maritime Boundaries.

Tripoli, 4 February 2021(Lana) Italy has submitted to Libya for study and decision two memos, one for exchange in the area of digital technology for use in public services to improve and streamline contact between members of the general public and Government agencies, and the other for delimitation of maritime boundaries.

The memos were handed over to Mahmoud Al Telisi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Technical Affairs at a meeting with the Italian Ambassador at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.

The two sides discussed the executive measures that have been dealt with at the Joint Libyan-Italian Technical and Economic Committee virtual meeting held in December.
