Abdul Majeed Seiful Nasar, Khalid Al Meshri and Ageela Saleh Gain Highest Votes in First Round of Vote in Presidency Council Elections.

Tripoli, 2 February 2021(Lana) According to results of the vote in the Presidency Council elections held in Geneva this afternoon, Abdul Majeed Seiful Nasar got the highest votes for the southern region , Khalid Al Meshri for the Western region and Ageela Saleh for the eastern region.

Thus no clear winner has been determined for the presidency Council post since no candidate has got the 70% of the vote needed to go to the second round the Electoral College which the decisive phase in the race to the Presidency Council.
