Ministry of Finance Reduces Fuel Supply to Capital, Queues at Gas Stations.

Tripoli, 2 February 2021(Lana) The fuel marketing company ‘Al Breiga’ attributed fuel shortages in the capital to delay of tanks entering into ports to discharge their load in due time.

The Company urged members of the general public not to panic saying gas stations outside the capital had no crowds.

Lana correspondents noted that many of the gas stations in the capital were closed, as motorists formed long queues at the opened ones.

The Chairman of the Fuel Crisis Committee Mohamed Fath’Allah said the Ministry of Finance has restricted the quantity of fuel imported citing financial coverage. It noted that the Committee has filed a memo to the Chair of the National Oil Corporation to address the problem.
