Jan Kubis Looks forward to supporting efforts to reach comprehensive solution to Libyan crisis.

Tripoli, 30 January 2021 (Lana) The new UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis has expressed his aspiration to cooperate in supporting the efforts to reach a solution to the current crisis in the country under Libyan leadership.  

In a cable to Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala, Kubis explained that this comes through dialogues supported by the United Nations, with the aim of bringing Libya to the path of peace, stability and national unity.

GNA Foreign Ministry said that the new UN envoy's telegram was in response to the congratulations sent to him, on the occasion of his assumption of his new duties.
