Presidential Council forms a committee to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the February 17 Revolution.

Tripoli, January 30, 2021 (Lana) - The Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord issued a decision to form a committee to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the February 17 Revolution headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Telecommunications Holding Company.

The memberships of the committee include the head of the Libyan Media Foundation, the Mayor of the Tripoli Municipality, the heads of the two steering committees of the General Authority for Culture and the General Services Company, the General Director of the General Electricity Company, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, the Deputy Head of the Stability Support Agency, the Director General of the Field Medicine Center, the Head of the Ambulance and Emergency Services Authority and representatives of The Tripoli Military Zone and the Libyan Intelligence and Internal Security Services.

The formed committee is responsible for making the necessary procedures and arrangements to prepare for the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the February 17th Revolution, and everything related to the occasion.

The Presidential Council also authorized the formed committee to take advantage of the capabilities and elements available to public and private institutions, agencies, and companies, as well as to use the materials and supplies that were participated with in the previous celebrations.

The Presidential Council obligated the competent authorities to implement its decision issued on Thursday, January 28, 2021, and to implement it from the date of its issuance.
