President of the Supreme Council of State receives Malta's ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli, January 29, 2021 (Lana) - The President of the State Supreme Council, Khaled al-Mishri, received the Malta’s ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, at the council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, on Thursday.

The meeting dealt with ways to strengthen trade relations between the two countries through the return of Maltese companies to work in Libya.

The Maltese ambassador affirmed the desire of the Maltese Chamber of Commerce and companies to resume commercial activity between the two countries, as well as the re-issuance of Schengen visas for the entry of Libyan citizens to Malta and the European Union countries for the purposes of trade, study and treatment.
