Foreign Minister Siala meets with the Ambassador of the European Union to Libya.

Tripoli, January 29, 2021 (Lana) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Siala met yesterday in Tripoli with the ambassador of the European Union to Libya Jose Sabadell.

The meeting dealt with developments in the Libyan political dialogue process, the role the European Union playing in laying the foundations for peace and stability in Libya, and the extent of its importance to the countries of Europe and the Mediterranean basin.

The ambassador reiterated the continuation of European support to Libya, and the Union’s readiness to assist and cooperate with Libya in organizing the upcoming elections on the twenty-fourth of December.
