EU Ambassador to Libya Declares Support for NOC.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 28 January 2021(Lana) EU Ambassador to Libya Jose Antonio has reaffirmed support for the National Oil Corporation NOC the backbone of the Libyan economy.
This came at a meeting Antonio had with the NOC Chairman of the Board Mustafa Sun’Allah during which they discussed the challenges facing Libya’s oil sector amid scarcer budgets.
According to the NOC’s SMS page Antonio commended the NOC Chairman position and his commitment to maintain the oil revenues in the NOC accounts until a comprehensive solution has been reached in Libya.
On his part Sun’Allah highlighted the visit of the European diplomat which he said reflected the attention the EU is giving stability of Libya at this difficult juncture.
