Researchers Group of Euro-Maghreb Centre Headed by Libyan Centre Convene First Meeting.

Tripoli, 26 January 2021 (Lana) Researchers Group of Euro-Maghreb Centre on Strategic Research and Studies (CEMRES) convened Monday its first meeting through a digital communication platform.

The meeting headed by Brig Eng. Suliman Shanber, representing Libyan centre for Strategic Studies and Research at Ministry of Defense with the participation of all 5+5 Defense Initiative member states representatives.

The meeting held under the theme’ repercussions of natural disasters, endemics and pandemics: cooperation ways and reciprocal support’ drafting a timeline for conducting the research and division of labour in terms of roles and responsibilities of themes and chapters of the research 2021, in consensual Voluntary and interactive framework for 5+5 member states Initiative Defense.

The agenda of the meeting includes several topics such as the welcoming address of the research director for 2021, intervention of the Centre’s Secretary General of the Centre, the time line for conducting the research and division of labour for the research.
