Minister of Education stresses importance of activating educational channel and electronic platforms.

Tripoli, 24 January, 2021 (Lana) - The Ministry of Education held a meeting, Sunday, headed by the Minister of Education, Dr. Mohamed Ammari Zayed, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Bureau and General Education Affairs, Engineer Adel Jumaa, and the directors of the centers, departments, departments and offices affiliated to it. 

 The meeting, which comes as a continuation of the first regular meeting of the Ministry for the current year, dealt with many files and topics related to progress of the educational process, most notably the discussion of the needs of departments and offices, the training plan and the overlap of the specializations between a number of departments and offices, in addition to discussing developments in the staffing of the Ministry’s office, and reviewing Decisions of the Acting Minister of Education for the year (2020) and the extent of their implementation.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Mohamed Ammari Zayed emphasized the necessity of following up the implementation of the ministry’s plan of action for 2021 by the departments, offices and entities affiliated with the ministry, as well as the importance of better activating the educational channel and electronic platforms.

The Director of Planning and Strategies Department at the Ministry, Dr. Ayman Al-Mahmoudi, gave a visual presentation in which he explained the general objectives of the plan in accordance with the Ministry's reform vision for the educational system in the sector and in line with international standards and contributes to achieving sustainable development.

The Undersecretary for Diwan and General Education Affairs, Eng. Adel Jumaa, stressed the follow-up of the operating budget of educational institutions, indicating that the slogan of the Ministry of Education must be health and safety of our students and students before their education.

He also called on departments and offices to refer their needs that help them carry out their tasks.

In turn, the head of the Distance Education Committee and the Director of the General Center for Training and Education Development, Dr. Masouda Al-Aswad, stressed the importance of activating distance education by broadcasting educational lessons through various means, especially in light of the outbreak of the Corona pandemic and the suspension of studies.
