The Head of Presidency Council Fayez Al Serraj on Sunday paid a visit to the headquarters of the High National Elections Commission in Tripoli to get a firsthand account of the Commission’s preparedness to conduct the elections on Dec. 24, 2021, as wells as cooperation between the Commission and the UN and the EU offices given the important advice the two bodies can contribute to t  

Al Serraj discussed with the President of the Commission Emad Al Sayeh and members of HNEC the preparations for the electoral event, and the cooperation between the Commission and the UN and EU offices, given the important advice the two bodies can offer to render the process successful.

The Presidency Council has allocated LD 50 million to the Commission to enable it execute its duty.
