Williams Underscores Political Process to Solve Libyan Crisis is Purely Libyan- Libyan Process.
Pulbished on:Tripoli 17 January 2021 (Lana) - Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Williams, underscored that the political process to solve the Libyan crisis is a purely “Libyan-Libyan” process.
It is not mediated by foreign powers, nor is it planned behind closed doors in foreign capitals, she added.
In a speech during a press conference held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, which the UN mission transmitted through its website, Williams described the roadmap drawn up in Tunis last November, ‘as the first critical step to renew the political legitimacy of Libyan institutions and restore Libyan sovereignty through national elections next December 24.
