Chairman of Libyan Information Corporation Issues Decision to Establish English-Speaking Channel.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 9.12 2020(Lana) The Chairman of the Libyan Information Corporation Omar Bayou has issued a decision to launch an English-speaking channel.
The second article of the decision, published on the news media, has stipulated for the channel to be named ‘Libya’ and to be headquartered in the capital Tripoli, and can have offices and studios elsewhere, if needed to fulfil its mandate.
The channel, according to the third article of the decision, aims to enable the audience of non-Arabic speakers to know what is happening in Libya, the events and achievements and economic progress taking place in the country.
The channel will be funded from the public treasury and from self revenues and resources.
