The Electoral Commission is discussing cooperation with the Netherlands.

Tripoli, November 12, 2020 (Lana) President of the High National
Elections Commission (HNEC) Imad Al-Sayeh discussed with The
Netherlands Ambassador to Libya Lars Toomer plans for future
international support for the Commission to implement the upcoming
electoral eligibility.
He made the announcement at a meeting Thursday at the Office of the
HNEC's Board of Commissioners in the presence of the commission's
board members Abdul Hakim al-Shaab and Abu Bakr Ali. The meeting
reviewed HNEC preparations for the upcoming electoral eligibility and
the challenges that could face the electoral process at the local and
international levels, as part of the international community's
support for Libya's democratic process.
He expressed appreciation for this initiative, praising the historic
democratic experience of the Netherlands as one of the oldest states
with elected parliaments and the legal capital of the world. For his
part, the Dutch ambassador welcomed the cooperation and technical
expertise and consultation in the field of electoral, praising the
efforts of the Commission and the level of advanced preparations in
its infrastructure, and its reliance on electronic technologies, in
order to improve the professionalism of elections in accordance with
the highest international standards.
