Tripoli, 12 November 2020(Lana) The EU Mission in Libya has condemned the assassination of Lawyer and Human Rights Activist Hanan Al Bar'asi in Benghazi on Tuesday, calling on Libyan authorities to open a credible enquiry into the crime and to bring perpetrators to justice. 'The assassination of Al Ba'asi aims to stifle independent voices an threatens the peace process and efforts to restore stability in the country, the Mission said in a statement.
