The Japanese Embassy in Rabat praises the results of the Libyan dialogue in Morocco and calls for the speedy implementation of its outcomes.

Rabat, September 13, 2020 (LANA) - The Japanese embassy in Rabat
praised the progress made in the framework of the Libyan dialogue in
Bouznika after the Libyan parties were able to meet thanks to the
Moroccan mediation initiative.
The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Japanese
embassy expressed its hope that the results of this dialogue would
bring "a dynamic that contributes to strengthening the ceasefire in
Libya, which will be permanent, and advancing the political process
to solve the Libyan crisisù".
On Thursday, the delegations of the State Council and the House of
Representatives announced in Bouznika, at the conclusion of their
meetings within the framework of the Libyan dialogue, that they had
reached a comprehensive agreement on the criteria and transparent and
objective mechanisms for assuming sovereign positions with the aim of
unifying them.
The joint final statement, which was read by Driss Omran, from the
Libyan House of Representatives, in the presence of the Moroccan
Minister of Foreign Affairs, "Nasser Bourita," stated that the two
parties also agreed to continue this dialogue and to resume these
meetings in the last week of this month in order to complete the
necessary measures that ensure the implementation of, and activate
this agreement/
The two parties called on the United Nations and the international
community to support Morocco's efforts aimed at providing the
appropriate conditions and creating the appropriate climate to reach
a comprehensive political settlement in Libya/
