The US Embassy in Libya commends the constructive Libyan consultations that took place in the Swiss city of Montreux.

Tripoli September 10, 2020 (LANA) - The US Embassy in Libya congratulated the Libyan parties that participated in the constructive consultations that took place from September 7 to 9 in the Swiss city of Montreux under the auspices of the Humanitarian Dialogue Center and in the presence of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya. The embassy added in a statement on Thursday: "We are confident that achieving a brighter future is possible, where the responsible Libyan parties meet in a peaceful dialogue with full respect for the sovereignty of Libya in order to achieve a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of foreign military forces, and the reopening of the Libyan energy sector with full transparency regarding the management of oil and gas revenues," according to what the embassy published on its Facebook page. The embassy said in its statement, "We sincerely welcome the relentless efforts made by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya to resume the comprehensive Libyan political dialogue forum, calling on all Libyan parties to support this process, through which the Libyan people will exercise their sovereign right to determine their future". ...
