Presidency Council Discuss With Chair of Consultative Scientific Committee Pandemic Status.

Tripoli, 25 August 2020(Lana) Deputy President of Presidency Council Ahmed Mi'tig and Members of Council Mohamed Emary Zayed and Ahmed Hamza on Monday discussed with Chairman of the Covid 19 Consultative Scientific Committee Khalifa Al Bakoush the pandemic and the measure taken to combat the virus. Al Bakoush reviewed, at the meeting held at the Council headquarters here, the work of the committee and the obstacles facing it. He outlined the successes which he said the Committee was able to achieve including opening quarantine centres in different Libyan regions and provision of needed CoronaVirus equipment. Al Bakoush attributed increasing of the number of CoronaVirus cases to non-commitment by members of the public to the distancing measures and wearing masks in public places. =Lana=
