Tripoli, July 26, 2020 (LANA) - The media office of the President
of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord
issued a press statement that was published last night on its
Facebook page about Bernard Levy's visit to Libya, in which stated:
"The media office would like to clarify what was raised about
Bernard Levy's visit to Libya, the Presidential Council had nothing
to do with, and had no knowledge of , the visit and was not
coordinated by it."
The office added that the Presidential Council is taking action by
investigating the background of this visit to find out all the facts
and details surrounding it.
The Council affirmed that it will take deterrent legal measures
against all those convicted of complicity in this act which is a
violation of the legitimacy and laws of the state.
According to the press release, the Presidential Council issued its
strict instructions to all security apparatuses, departments and
ports, to act full compliance with the laws and the decisions of the
Presidential Council to prevent any future violations from occurring.
