Kremlin: The Russian and French Presidents stress an urgent ceasefire in Libya.

Moscow, 27.06.2020 - Lana - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his
French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, called on Friday, during their
virtual meeting, for an urgent ceasefire in Libya and the resumption
of dialogue to resolve the crisis in the country.
The Kremlin, in a statement issued after the meeting, said that
"Putin" and "Macron" expressed their common concern about the
continuation of hostilities in Libya.
The Kremlin added that the two sides affirmed their support for the
call for an urgent cease-fire and the resumption of dialogue between
the Libyan parties in line with the decisions of the Berlin
Conference held on January 19, 2020 and Resolution No. 2510, which
was confirmed and issued by the United Nations Security Council.
He also called on the Russian and French Presidents to unite
international efforts aimed at settling the crisis through diplomatic
and political means.
