Chairman of NOC meets Italian ambassador.

Tripoli, 12 September 2017 (Lana) Chairman of National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustfa Sannalla, met Italian ambassador to Libya and his accompanying delegation in the presence of members of the board of NOC. The Italian ambassador praised the efforts made by NOC and its endeavours to achieve the production target and the close ties between Italian companies working in Libya with NOC. Eng. Sanalla on his part praised the role of Italian companies and their contribution to sustainable development in the areas of their operations in Libya and keen interest of NOC to develop further fields of joint cooperation with the Italian side in oil and gas sector. He also highlighted problems and challenges encountering the sector due to repeated closure of pipelines and its impact on state revenues and catastrophic effects of such behaviour in view of state budget deficit, and dwindling central bank reserves. =Lana=
