The second meeting of the committee to follow up on the status of the properties of embassies and diplomatic missions operating in Libya
Pulbished on:Tripoli, September 1, 2024 (LANA) - The Committee for Following Up the Conditions of Foreign Embassies and Diplomatic Missions and Addressing Them discussed in its second meeting today, Sunday; the conditions of the embassies operating inside Libya, in terms of legal procedures for ownership and rent and organizing their conditions.
The committee stressed the unification of efforts by state institutions in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate the return of embassies to work from Tripoli, and review the procedures related to the headquarters and complete them in a legal manner.
It is noteworthy that this committee is formed from the State Property Authority, the Real Estate Registration Authority, the Judicial Police Department, the Diplomatic Security Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Administrative Centers Development and Development Authority.
