Tripoli, August 15, 2024 (LANA) - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, "Farhat Bengdara", met yesterday, Wednesday, with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Acting Head of the United Nations Mission in Libya, Stephanie Khoury.
"Khoury" said in a tweet she published on X that she discussed with "Bengdara" the critical situation the oil sector is going through in light of the declaration of a state of force majeure, and ways to preserve the independence and unity of the corporation.
"Khoury" urged all parties to support the corporation's efforts to achieve stability and increase production. .
