Al-Sayeh discusses with the French ambassador the latest developments in the electoral process.

Tripoli, March 20, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, discussed today, Monday, with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj, and his accompanying delegation, the latest developments in the course of the electoral process.

This came during a meeting held today at the Commission's office in Tripoli, within the framework of France's support for the electoral process in Libya, according to the Commission.

The meeting also reviewed ways to support national proposals and endeavors that seek peace and stability and aim to achieve consensus among political parties in order to achieve the expected benefits.

The French ambassador affirmed that his country's support for the commission's efforts continues to achieve free and credible elections that reflect the will of the Libyan voter, praising the efforts undertaken by the commission in dealing with the previous electoral stages.
