US State Department official: Libyan actors must find a clear path towards a democratic future for their country.

Tripoli 19 March 2023 (Lana) The US Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations Affairs, Michelle Sison, called on the Libyan political actors to find a clear path towards a democratic future for all Libyans.
Sison said in a press statement yesterday, that the Libyan people demanded to hold free, and fair elections and to choose their leader in 2023.
Sison commended the presidential statement of the UN Security Council and its support for the initiative of the UN Envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, which would achieve fair elections that the Libyan people deserve.
