Female Staff of Libyan News Agency commemorate International Women's Day.

Tripoli, March 9, 2023 (LANA) - Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Libyan News Agency, Abdul Basset Ahmed Abudaya, has expressed his satisfaction with the fact that Libyan women accessed the fields of journalistic work in the various departments of the agency after developing the work structure at the level of the editorial hall, which opened its doors for women to contribute to this field.  

‘The profession that was until recently the preserve of men in this institution, which is considered among the oldest Arab news agencies’, he added.

In a speech during a celebration held by the Libyan News Agency on Thursday morning on the occasion of the International Women's Day, which falls on the 8th of March of each year, Abudaya praised the determination of women in the agency to engage in journalistic work and get out of the cloak of purely administrative work and enhance their presence in covering various events. social, economic and political.

He expressed his support as well as support of the Director General for the female staff of the Libyan News Agency and their readiness to mitigate any difficulties and remove the challenges that they may face in their field of work within the framework of the remarkable development that our country is witnessing to enable women to access all areas of work to achieve development by exploiting all capacities within society.

Meanwhile, LANA female staff have emphasized their determination to contribute to the efforts exerted to develop the Libyan News Agency in all journalistic, administrative and financial disciplines.
