Tripoli, March 8, 2023 (LANA) - Today, Wednesday, the President of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid_Al-Dabiba," followed up on the General Electricity Company's plan to face the summer peak during his meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company and directors of technical departments, in the presence of the Ministers of State for Cabinet Affairs, Communication and Political Affairs.

  During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba listened to the results of the previous follow-up meeting, in which it was agreed to implement a number of major overhauls and urgent transportation projects, install prepaid meters and complete contractual procedures for the implementation of the South Tripoli station.

  Al-Dabaiba stressed the need for a consumption rationalization plan in which state agencies contribute, which will help in stabilizing the network, instructing him to intensify efforts during the current period to face the summer peak.
