Tripoli, March 8, 2023 (LANA) – The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabiba, received this evening, Wednesday, at the Cabinet Office, the special envoy of the French President, Paul Solar, in the presence of the French ambassador to Libya.

According to the Prime Minister's Media Office, the French President's Special Envoy affirmed during the meeting his country's support for the efforts of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to organize elections at the end of this year, and to end the transitional stages through them.

For his part, "Al-Dabaiba" welcomed France's participation in the (P3 + 2) meeting held in Tripoli, which confirms its support for international and local efforts to make the elections a success, according to the media office.
