Tripoli 8 March 2023 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, congratulated his Qatari counterpart, Mohamed Abdul-Rahman Al-Thani,on his appointment as new Prime Minister.
Al-Dabaiba expressed, in a tweet, his wishes for him to succeed in his mission, and for the Qatari people to continue their progress and prosperity.
The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, issued an Emiri decree appointing Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani as Prime Minister while retaining the foreign portfolio, to succeed Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, who submitted his resignation.
