Libyan National Security Adviser meets an Iraqi delegation.

Tripoli, March 07, 2023 (LANA) – The Libyan National Security Adviser, Ibrahim Bushnaf, met this morning, Tuesday, in the capital, Tripoli, with a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq.

Counselor "Bushnaf" stressed during the meeting the depth of the fraternal and historical relations with which the two brotherly countries are linked, expressing support for the reopening of the Iraqi embassy in Tripoli, and the opening of a consulate in the city of Benghazi.

In turn, the head of the Iraqi diplomatic delegation thanked all state institutions in Libya and their work to strengthen bilateral relations.

The Iraqi official explained that his presence at the head of a delegation from his country's foreign affairs in Tripoli, his main task is to arrange and work for the opening of the embassy soon.
