Tunisian ambassador to Libya confirms his government's keen interest to support trade relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Tripoli, March 07, 2023 (LANA) - The activities of the Libyan-Tunisian Partnership and Integration Forum kicked off, Monday, with the participation of (200) representatives of Libyan and Tunisian companies and businessmen in food industries, building materials, electrical industries, machine spare parts, stationery, packaging, import and export.

The forum, organized by the Libyan Export Development Center in cooperation with the Tunisian Export Promotion Center, aims to open the door for partnership and cooperation for the flow of goods and services between Libya and Tunisia, revitalize the intra-trade movement, develop the wheel of the economy, diversify income and strengthen the competitiveness of Libyan and Tunisian products.

  The Tunisian ambassador to Libya, Al-Asaad Al-Ajili, said in a statement to the Libyan News Agency that the volume of trade exchange between Libya and Tunisia recently witnessed a quantum leap and we hope that it will develop further, stressing the Tunisian government's keen interest to support trade relations and cooperation between the two countries.

In his statement on the sidelines of the forum, the Tunisian ambassador expressed his appreciation of the relevant authorities both in Libya and Tunisia for organizing this forum, which is attended by more than 200 Tunisian and Libyan businessmen and various sectors, including health, construction, trade and services, stressing that this forum is a good opportunity to strengthen partnership between Libyan and Tunisian institutions interested in upgrading cooperation between the two countries.
