Eye Hospital announces conduct of 100 corneal operations in 4 Libyan cities.

Tripoli 2 February 2023 (Lana) The Eye Hospital in Tripoli announced it had performed 100 corneal operations in 4 Libyan cities at one time.

The hospital said on its SMS page, yesterday, that corneal transplant operations are being conducted for the first time in the city of Sorman and continued after midnight by the hospital team and ophthalmology department team at Sorman Hospital.

The hospital stated that the operations are carried out in Tripoli, Benghazi, Sorman, and Tobruk, by Prof. Dr. Tareq Qatamesh and Prof. Dr. Amir Mustafa.
