The Algerian President confirms his country's support and standing by the representative of the African Union for national reconciliation in Libya.

Algiers, December 07, 2022 (LANA) - Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed his country’s support and standing by the representative of the African Union for national reconciliation in Libya, wishing him “success in achieving this noble endeavor, and creating a suitable environment for holding elections,” according to what was announced by the Presidency of the Republic of Algeria.

Tebboune's confirmation came during a phone call, during which he spoke with the President of Congo-Brazzaville and the high-level African Commission on Libya, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, today, Wednesday, about the reality of bilateral relations, prospects for cooperation between the two countries and issues of common interest, according to what was published by the Algerian Presidency on its website.
