Tripoli 4 December 2022 (Lana) US Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland, said that the US supports the UNSMIL’s efforts led by Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Abdoulaye Bathily, to have Libyan leaders meet in Libya, to make crucial decisions for the stability and prosperity of Libyans.

“The vast majority of the international community, including the US, supports a Libyan-Libyan solution, and Libyan leaders have an unparalleled opportunity to show they have the courage and wisdom to deliver this,” Norland added in a tweet.
