Tripoli, October 24, 2022 (LANA) - The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, "Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer", reviewed today, Monday, with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, "Abdullah Batili" the initiatives of the Central Bank of Libya in developing the level of disclosure and transparency, and the paths of unifying the Central Bank of Libya.

The two sides also discussed, during their meeting in Tripoli, the efforts of the Central Bank in maintaining the financial sustainability of the state and achieving financial and monetary stability, and cooperation initiatives with international parties and institutions to enhance the bank's efforts in all fields.

For his part, the Special Envoy welcomed the efforts made by the Central Bank of Libya over the past years, stressing the important role played by the Bank in developing the level of disclosure and transparency adopted by the Central Bank.

Batelli also stressed the continuation of communication and support of the mission to the efforts of the bank and its assistance in its initiatives in integrity and transparency.
